Doesnt matter. Actual burst pressure should be 3x the rated psi.

yup just like a paintball guns tankthey have burst discs that will blow off if it is overfilled!we fill to 4500 psi with fiberwrapped tanks and nobody gets hurt.

I was told this a while bak cant remember who said it:

American made tanks are 3x for burst rate
Chinese are 1 time or .25% so if it is 150 it would be a burst of about 180psi
something to think on...
Cheaper tanks are usually from china....
I was thinking of switching out my tanks for the new aluminum ones but i am afraid of those bursting quiker then the steel ones

To the guy that said it was a byc tank... Why would he even have it?

yeah no doubt it would still be in the building stage for the next 6 years and the guy wouldnt have the money or the tank...i am still waiting with everyone else...
And by the way i am sorry
I think i said the chinese tanks have a burst rating i forgot they dont have a burst rating as they are imported and not the same standards. as the USA tanks.
I install blow off pressure release valves on all my setups i install just incase....
