I need to lower my motor at least an inch, is it possible to go more? How much is everyone else going?

You can lower it an inch no problem. But your oil pan will hit your engine crossmember and drag link. I use 3/4" drop mounts and it leaves about 1/8" or so between the oil pan and engine crossmember/drag link. And it doesn't rub on startup.

Yeah, I can notch the engine cross member if need be. I have FI so a webber is not gonna help me.

If you modify the centre link for the steering and notch the x member that runs under the motor you can do an inch, no problem. How much BD do you have? My friends Mazda has a 2 3/8 bd with a 3/4 inch lowered engine and 2.2 EFI and it clears the hood. You can round the front corner of the intake down some to increase clearance to the hood. You can also shave the intake support bracket down level with the top of the intake to pick up a bit of clearance. An older valve cover with the PCV that is horizontaly mounted will help as well if you don't have one already.

I only have a 2.5" BD but I have a 2.2 Turbo motor out of a Mazda Mx6 which has a fairly bulky intake manifold.
