i am having a problem with the steering column hitting the a arm when it is aired all the way down. what is the best fix for this? The truck is a 79 k5 blazer b/d on 22/'s

It really depends on how bad it is hitting the arm. You can modify the arm to clear the steering or you can modify the steering to clear the arm.

I think it was Adam Berg at Settin Trendz who came up with an interesting control arm to solve this problem. Thy hitting him up on here to see if he has a pic.

you can build one using knuckles and have it come out strait then down...that how my buddy did it on his stock floor 84 suburban with 22's

yeah, a few u joints is probably the best route. you can usually have two without needing to support the shaft with a heim joint. look at 87-96 dakotas, factory has a similar setup. use it for parts.
