Ok I know some of you have had to deal with this. My 96 S-10 std cab's rear end is shot because the driveshaft was being shoved into it.
How much do you shorten the driveshaft to fix it?
Also, does anyone know of a shop in NC that will do this at a decent price?
Thanks!

i have bagged alot of old & new s-10's so i never heard of having to cut down a driveline.......

just move your axle back...might be less of a hassle if you cant find a driveline shop.

if its a one piece shaft you want there to be about half of the splines in the rear of the transmission at ride height, if its a two peice u wanna make it to where theres no pressure on the carrier bearing, hope that helps
