so im assuming the 91 dually is the newer body version not the square ? if so, you may be onto something. it may not be to bad of a swap. i cant say from experience . any pics

Your hardest part is going to be wiring up the new gauges to work properly

ya its the newer body not the boxed but i dont have pics of the truck i am still thinkin it over on buyin the truck just tryin to see what obstacles i am gonna come into doing this.

here is the add on the truck the guy is sellin i wanna say its a good starting poin on a truck but it needs full interior and full paint and i honestly dont see dumpin that kind of casj into the truck on paint it looks great in the pic but the guy that owned it in cali did a half assed job on paint didnt pull anything off or prep surface right so paint is cracking and peeling all over the truck

Big f'in job to do it 100% right, for so many reasons. A lot of the trim pieces are different, too. Steering column support (spot welded in) needs to be swapped out. Column is different. A pillar trim on passenger side has holes for grab handle, need to hack bracket off donor truck and weld onto your A pillar. Then there's the wiring.........

I've done this job (complete 100% interior swap) and wish I'd did something different, but I figured it would be the "easy" way to swap in the newer engine, too, that way I could just use un-hacked original harnesses. That part worked great. All the crap to put the newer interior in and do it right... blah.
