Ok, first of all, don't even consider soda blasting unless you really really know what you are doing, if not neutralized properly, just plan on the paint not sticking, i won't even consider it in my place, if it's been soda blasted, I don't want to take the chance. i'd have it re-blasted just to remove the residue..
Soda blasting has to be nuetralized with a chemical such as mean green/purple power, and has to be washed, and washed again, you'll need to pressure wash it after you neutralize it also. and be sure not to let any residue dry in any body seam or crevice, or you'll be re-doing that area when it peels..
