NOt to educated with single stage but try and wet sand it with a light grid sand paper and then buff it when your done.. That might feather the two together and not be able to feel the tape line..

thick pinstripe to try to mask the tape line

one thing about single stage is that you are going to have to wait awile after you lay down your first color before you tape on it to do your 2nd color, that stuff takes a while to dry, kinda like clear coat. if you dont want a hard line try back taping or 3M makes a Masking Foam that you can use for your line instead of reagular tape..

normally you get what you pay for when it comes to paint..i would go with a major brands lower inexpensive line in a basecoat/clearcoat..youll be glad you did when your done..unless you are using the color the vehicle is for one of the two tone colors..single staging a two tone would be a pain in the but and not give the best results

im with trevor on this one, for what it will cost in 2 diff colors of single stage, a base/clear job from the "off brand" of some of the big guys will yield the same if not better results.

you could just do a pinstripe to break it up, but i'd think it would be cheaper & easier to go with a base/clear of some cheap stuff like OMNI just like everyone else said. OMNI really doesn't look that bad & since it's made by PPG if you wanted to spend just a few extra bucks, you can lay something like Concept 2021 clear right over the OMNI base without any bad effects.

If you roll the the tape at the bottom insted of just laying the tape flat , it won't leave a real hard line, then you can use the pinstripe to split the colors
