on a 91 & 98 do you have to completely remove the cab? any help would be appreciated! PIX?

Check out fullsizechevy.com I think is the name of the site. They have a very good post in the tech forum on doing these trucks. I can say that removing the cab would be of great help to you.

unless u have a lift i wouldnt try it.also to do it with the cab on ur need to weld the new rails inside the factory rails and cut off the excess fatory rail....ifcustom.com shows them doing it

i did mine without taking the cab off and without a lift and i do not recomend anyone doing this...it was a bitch

yeah i wouldnt attempt to do it without taking the cab off. that would make things alot harder and it would just be in the way.
