kp bolt-on pan hard bar, broke my frame off on the freeway!!

so driving to work today on the freeway in light traffic doin about 60, my truck starts to sway all over the place and then decides to throw me towards a concrete barrier....

limp the truck off at the next exit and see this!






now i missed work and im not sure wtf im goin to do since i have about 50 dollars to my name.... :flame: :flame:

so if you got a kp bolt on kit, i would add a plate behind that peice of frame

well that sucks...good thing nobody got hurt. Never heard that happening before...

Bret, that sucks. Who installed that? It looks like the welds may have been bad. Or, metal was added to your frame to bolt that KP pan hard too and that extra piece of metal failed. Sorry that happened to you.

thats a bolt on peice to the factory frame, nothing was welded in to my knowledge and if it was the notch and everything else that was welded is fine...

Damn bro. That really sucks.. If you was close, I'd say bring it by the shop and we would hook you back up for the low-low.. Would hook a fellow Mini-Trucker up to get ya back on the road.. Good luck with everything.
