I really need to put power brakes bake on my truck. I don't know what size booster i can use on my bodydropped s-10 and clear a 20 inch rim. I really like to get something at a parts store rather than ordering something because I can see it before I buy it. Any suggestions on what type a vehicle would have a small booster and work on an s-10 would be appreciated. I would do a hydroboost but funds are low and I need to get this truck back going. Thanks fellow minitruckers.

my dime is bodyropped on 20/22. with the stock arms and booster, tire barely hits it, but i need to cut the front cups down a bit. and it's like 1/2 inch from layin out.

but i just got a used '90 fullsize booster for free, and it seems to be 2-3 inches shorter. i think it will work.

my buddy used this one on his 01' dime. he said he had to cut and weld on his "eyelet" where the pedel assembly attatches. its smaller than the 11" stocker and he tucks nicely. not 100% on the stock master cylinder bolting up but you can purchase that as well "the zone"

Use a Geo Metro booster, 6 3/4 had one on my s10 when I did my right hand conversion just had to cut the pin down. It will work fine I stopped better with that booster than my stock one.

i just went through swapping my booster on my dime to clear 22s... what a pain in the ass that was just to remove 4 bolts!!!!

I just bought an SSBC 7in chrome dual diaphram booster... it bolts up to the firewall with no mods...Like slappy said though, you'll either need to weld on the old eyelet off the old booster(i personally wouldnt do it because it wont be adjustable afterwards), or buy the attatchment kit from SSBC for like $60...

I lay on 22s with it, with stock lowers, tubular uppers, and drop spindles, and have about 3in of clearence..

if your truck isnt stock floored, i'd definately suggest pulling the dash out first to save yourself some time and headache... let me know if youve got any ?s i can help you with!

Thanks for all your help. I already have the cab off and the interior pulled, so I'm in the process of finishing the firewall and need to get a booster. All of your ideas were helpful, now I need to decide which one I'll use
