ive done it before but down side is if you ever wana sand it your gona gum up some paper bad. jus an idea but if you at least have a smal compressor you can buy a cheap paint gun at wal mart for like 20 dollars and go to car quest and buy tractor and impliment paint flat black. its real cheap and sprays right outa the can, lays down good and is tough and you can actually sand it. just an option you should be able to do for under a hundred bucks with out all the tiger stripes and headaches rattle can gives ya

If you ever want paint on there, don't do it. You are just making more work for yourself in the longrun.

just do wat johnathon said. the tractor paint lays down real good and easier then actual paint. even if you mess up its still gonna save u alotta time when u goto actually paint it.

I used John Deere Blitz Black on my truck. It was only $26 a gallon and the quart of thinner was $15. I painted it with the $20 Wal-Mart gun and a small craftsman compressor. It looks good enough, I'm happy with it.

I used a rattle can on my ranger but it is a pearl black and flat silver flames. It turned out pretty good i guess.

done in my garage, 9 cans of duplicolor black sandable primer. smoothed by washing it with a rough sponge and car washing liquid.
