what have you done to elimanate this damn valve?

Use an adjustable valve, or use an early stock proportioning valve from a pre 84 2WD truck.

Some people just put a T there. Some people have reported no issues with doing that. I found that it made my rear brakes lock up when there was equal pressure to both front and rear brakes.

Thanks Seth. I might try that. The damn thing is big ugly and the arm to the rear
end is too.

i just moved mine up out of sight, but i have heard the same thing about putting a t in it. you could just put one of those adjustable valves after the t i guess. like this http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/1977,9_Brake-Adjustable-Proportioning-Valve.html?itemNo=wilwood%20adjustable. but now that i think of it screw back brakes you dont need them anyways.
