sway bar question

Does anyone know what the 3 digit code for a Sway bar would be for an 88 S-10 2wd? it wouldnt pass inspection today as my truck doesnt have a sway bar. I didnt want to argue with the guy, so I'm trying to find out if a Sway bar was optional for a 2wd S-10 and if so what was the code so I can look in my glove box and see if my truck is suppossed to have one.....all I know is since I've owned the truck it has never had one.

im pretty sure like 90% of the s10 frames from first gen to 2nd gen are the same (2wd) ..... i have one sitting here is you need one .... not sure about a code though? Im sure someone with more knowledge about this situation will respond ..... but im almost positive it has one, ill ask a friend of mine who has an 89 rolling chasis and ask him to look ...... my email is minitruckin330@aol.com.... email me and i can get back to you if someone else doesnt
