paint on a bumper filler,

if your painting bumper filler and grille shell you paint them seperated, and then paint them as one piece? or is it not neceasary to paint it the second time? any info would be nice.

so let me get this straight....your wondering if you need to paint them seperated, or assembled ?......Its entirely up to you, but you dont need to do both.

Doing them together ensures you dont scratch them putting them together, aswell as orientation of the metallics.

right well the thing is its a 3 piece crappy bumper filler set instead of the oe 1 piece so i was painting them seperate any ways but after assemble if i had the paint to do so would it would just be over kill to put another coat on it right?

theres no reason to paint them again after you put it together...

alright cool. i am not a painter and this is temporary on the clips for a few months the entire car will be repainted so i guess it only has to look good for a lil while. but i want it to be damned good.
