Picked up a new pig and was going to use for parts, truck is too clean to pull apart, so im going to put the Single Cab on the back burner and resurrect the R30. Truck has dual tanks but one filler door on D/S, P/S has no filler door but the neck for the tank is mounted in P/S wheel well. WTF. Did any of these R30's have only one tank? The selector switch for the tanks is not in the usual location by the ash tray, Its mounted 1" to the right of the Steering column dust cover on the bottom side of the bezel. I know this is an after thought and good judgemnet was used as to not cutting up the dash. Will post picks up later today. Truck came with Drop spindles and Shackle/Hangar combo. Has a Dana 80 in the rear. 16" Alcoas with alright rubber. I think the 22"s would look great on this one. Interior is Red and very clean considering the truck is primered.

Had major engine compartment fire, complete fuel injection harness is toast, time to hit the junkyard and see what I can find to get it running again. Super stoked, nice fat headers will be nice to hear uncorked.
Let the fun begin

Situation just got a little worse, there happens to be a huge 3.5" hole blown outward through the bottom of the pan under #1, possible the crank broke or the rod decided to go on a longer stroke, Back to the Single Cab, this truck is just parts. I need to make up my mind. Beds comin off tomorrow.

Sucks. Not the first time I've seen that on a big block with a non-overdrive trans though; Speed Racer probably over-revved it trying to go 120.

I bought an '89 (shitbox body, still runs TH400 up through '90) with a 7.4 that had exit holes in the oil pan too; guy had put billet trim all over it including the gauge cluster face, he forgot to hook the gear indicator backup, then let his wife drive it. Yeah.

You 100% sure it's got a Dana 80 back there? Has an "80" cast into the housing?
