thats awesome man. I kinda had the same shit happen to me. Stockfloored my truck and pull the intake and heads to replace a head gasket and decided to go carb'd setup and a buddy of mine offered me a performer edlebrock intake and carb setup absolutly free and he helped me convert my tbi truck to a carb'd setup! Gotta love minitruckers!

I feel ya on that, I've got a friend here that is painting my truck for absolutley nothing. We sprayed the bed last thurs. and we were in the booth so late that he had to stay up and go to work. And he never complained once.....I owe him so big.

Best part is, that its not only the minitruckers that are helping out like this. I had an old hot rod guy stop by the other day and give me a set of 58 Merc Park Lane tails and complete grille for free. He just wanted to see if I could use them on my truck. So my brother is making a template for the tails right now.

ive earned a few parts n some labor by helpin buddies out with moving or workin on their trucks on days off and its definately somethin u dont see often enough
