i have a 91 b2600i and i installed h4 conversion headlights and i went to i turn on the headlights and they wouldn't work. i tried to start the engine and it wouldn't start just a click when i turned the key. the door buzzer is working and the warning lights are on though. i checked all the fuses under the dash and under the hood and nothing is blown. i disconnected the battery and reconnected it several times and still nothing. i tried to jump start thinking the battery was dead and it still wouldn't start. what the fuck is going on? someone please help i need to drive this thing for work because gas is too expensive to drive my C-10

Are the cables burnt or corroded badly? Maybe just a loose connection possibly at the battery. Is it a side post? (my 89 is a top post don't know if they changed or not) If it's a top post make sure the wires goen into the clamp are clamped on tight. Could be the starter isn't getting kicked out by the solenoid. Might check connections at battery and starter itself make sure your getten power to the starter. Make sure the cables aren't corroded all the way down the wire (inside the red and black coating). Good luck. If i was there i'd help ya out but it's a long ass drive lol!

undo everything you did since it was running.... my 88 did that, it was the little round thing up by the radiator with the 2 wires going down to the top of it.

the 2.6 mazda are prone for bad wires. my buddies 91 2.6 had a few wires corrode almost overnight. when we found it, it looked like green pixie sticks inside. check where the main wires bolt to the main relay box. the little flaps open like a door.
