I was givin a bottle of duponts Hot Hues Charcoal Candy. Does anyone know of a good base to lay down before it or something cool to mix it with?

silver always works best as a base also gold and sometimes white works for some colors

Yeah i used a hondas nh623m. it really just made it a dark grey metallic. thats why i was wondering. Thanx tho.. maybe i will try the white, or maybe some type of pearl white..hell i dunno.. guess i just gotta shoot some test panels i guess...

well tipically with a candy you want to spray it over a metallic, not a white. Candies are 100% transparent, so the point of them is strictly to provide the main colour, the base underneath provides all the hiding, and all the sparkle.
