Custom Center Link?

I am laying my s10 on stock spindles currently. everythings great, except with the camber im getting, and the range of travel, the toe changes dramatically. i know a guy who has made a custom center link that puts the tie rod mount at the same point as the LCA. the only thing is, none of the ones hes built have been road tested.

i heard a rumor that a center link out of an astro van works roughly the same way. as long as the truck wont dive rapidly when i air up, id be happy. and since its a factory part.. durability shouldnt be an issue.
