I went and bought some gas hose yesterday and it doesnt say anything about high psi on it just says, "flame resistant 300psi" is that ok? I have a taco so its fuel injected. I hope so, I got like 30 foot of it and it was $1.50 a ft.

300psi = high pressure fuel line. Most fuel injection systems are less than 50psi.

I used braided hose,on both feed & return lines!

If you want to do it on a small buget than use rubber fuel line with some good filters as rubber fuel line does break down and you get pcs of rubber floating around the system.Thats why racing sanctions like NHRA and IHRA say only about 12" of rubber line allowed on a race vechicle because rubber line can rub through pretty easy. Also if you plan on doing any draging the sparks may burn through the rubber line.Like gary said if you want a sweet looking fuel system use braided hose from russels or something like that with the red and blue a/n fittings.I used the braided fuel line before and it kicks ass over the rubber. This is just my opnion but when it comes to fuel or fuel line do it right from square one cause a fuel fire can spread REALLY QUICK WITH MAJOR CONSIQUECSES.

mine is injected but it is such a low preasure that you can just use rubber gas line and if you wanna be sure it can hold the psi just use fuel injection line. it cost more but is alot stronger. i just used rubber gas line and clamps and drove around for about a year with no problems.. then i cut my truck up.. so the lines havnt been used in months. lol

just food for thought here but stock 22re pressure is around 38 to 40 psi. dont cheap out on the lines, gasoline tends to be a little bit flamable, especially when draggin a truck on the road

just go rent the plastic gas line kit from NAPA with all the right fittings to do the job right
