WTF!!!

okay I just shipped my axles to moser eng. and got my axle housing shortend from a local shop last week and welded the 4 link up last night well I call moser today and they told me they couldn't make new axles because there is a threaded portion of the axle where the bearing retainer nut goes which they don't have the equipment to duplicate! WTF! they can make splines but not threads? what a joke.. I'm so sick of this shit... I was told they could make me new ones!

does anyone have any idea why they couldn't thread a 3/4" portion of my axles on a cnc lathe???

why didn't ya just switch to a toyota rear end?

because I just didn't want to mess with it... that and you can't find squat for toyota trucks in the junk yards here

haa! I found out why they can't do it... because they don't machine shit!! all Moser does is measure your axles send the measurements to some other company and they forge them... then moser gets them back and splines them makes 200 profit and ships that shit out...what a joke

i had mine cut and resplined by moser. they did an awsome jod. they can make axles for any rearend but mazdas and nissans. just have yours cut and resplined.

they cut and resplined your mazda rearend? they told me that the splines were bigger than the axle and they wouldn't gurentee the work

mazda axles taper down to the splines, i just had them respline a set of isuzu axles for 110 bucks.

Moser did my housing and axles.... I have an explorer rear end in the ranger. They did an awesome job. They cut everything in house. weird they wouldn't be able to machine what you need. When I called to ask if they could shorten my 07 F150 axle they said they had never done one and couldn't guarentee they could do it till they saw it. thats a lot of work to get a no answer. thats my only gripe about them. other than that top notch work !!!
