So i just swapped my stock brake booster with a 7in chrome one from ssbc.. ive tried bleeding the brakes 3 times and cant get them to get any pressure going for them.. shoul;d i be bleeding them at each wheel, or from themaster cyclinder or what?

another problem im having is my truck wont shift out of park.. itll start up n crank over, but no luck getting it into gear... could my nuetral saftey switch have something to do with it?

how would u bypass this so i could shift it out of park without even pressing the brake pedal??? any help would be greatly appreciated...

its on 03 s10, 4.3, auto tranny, and column shifter,,,

did you bench bleed the master? make sure you hooked your BOO(brake on/off) switch back up at the pedal.

don't know about your specific model, but many chevys w/ auto trannys are/were vacuum assisted. did your old booster have any other vacuum lines besides direct manifold input? if not just ignore this post.

it only had one vacuum line on the factory and the ssbc unit... i got it out of park and it will go into gear nicely now..

how do you bench bleed the master???

whenever i cant get something to bleed out i'll just let it gravity bleed. Crack the bleeder and let gravity do the rest till it starts comming out the end. Check your fluid to make sure its keeps full. Then after fluid comes out the nipples close them up and bleed them like normal. Always worked for me.
