What all do I need to tint some epoxy for my truck? I obviously need white primer, but what type of paint do I use to tint it? Polyester, just a normal base, or what?? Thanks for any help

im not sure that you can tint epoxy but if you could i would say no more than like 10% of any colid color base unreduced and you would want the toners not something that has been mixed to paint a car

you can definitely tint epoxy primer/sealer. for my integra i used single stage to tint it but depending on what primar you go with. just ask the paint supply store they can tell you exact mixing ratio and what goes with what... you can even make it shiney like my white and aqua primer just depends on which activator (or some shit like that) you use. and depending on what color you want to go with you can tint the grey epoxy too if thats closer to the color you want.

make sure u do it on only the last coat. gumps truck is tan primer with dupont fast blue(toner) in it.

I want a "dream sickle" orange, peach, bright green, or something kinda different. not real sure.

I don't know that I would go to anywhere local, I was just going to order offline and "mix it" myself...if thats possible.

it is, youll just have to get base coat and not single stage. tan primer and some orange will prob yeild the color your looking for.
