s10 a/c question (not a hard one)

i have a 99 s10. i have the blower box and side of my coil (?) box out right now. A dude's supposedly fiberglassing it together after being cut to work with 20's. Is there any way i can take the engine bay a/c stuff out and drive it without messing it up? As far as i want to take it out now so i can drive it, but put it back in when i get the box back. Or will it get hurt driving with no fan, blower box, or the side of the coil box gone? I'm talking about the big huge oblong plastic box that's connected to the firewall by a silver hose (pipe). Any ideas? Or do i just wait till the box is done?

you should be ok w/ all the other junk on, just make sure water/air cant get in the cab/hoses.

if you ac condensor is unhooked, atleast i think thats what its called were the heat/ac fan blows through is open. then up plug the ac wires on the compressor. some settings use the compressor with out saying it does and if turned on will lock down the ac compressor in a min or 2.

i had to take the ac part out on mine to lay body on the 20s and the fan is were the ac part was. atleast my heat still works so i can keep warm in the winter and defog my window lol.
