I am thinking about bagging my 97 ram. The wheels I am looking at have a +25 offset. They are 22x9.5 and the tires are 274/45 r22. Will I have any problems with these rims and tires?? Also this will be my first attempt at bagging a vehicle any input or advice would be a great help.

ThanksJ.

If it's your first attempt....I would say don't start with a Dodge. Dodge's are not easy to work on. Few companies make parts for the 02-08 Dodge, yet you can get just about everything you want for a 07+ Chevy. Weird....

Yeah I have noticed there is NO after market support for the full size dodges. Ans that is regrettable cause they look so damn good! But also that is the appealing part. You know they aren't a cookie cutter truck when done. Plus the fact I already have the dodge. I am very mechanical so working the parts wont be a big problem. Plus my dad is a tool and dye guy. And I am sure if I get stuck he can help. Plus what better way to learn than on one of the most difficult. So like before and tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

that size tire and offset wont tuck unless you narrow your axle.

The only tip i can give you on working with dodge trucks, is to just do alot of research, there are alot of tips and tricks out thare. Check peoples profiles for picures of how others hvae done it, and then make a decision on how to do yours.

the usual hangups with rams are, the gas tank, the rear end, and wheel selection.

Not much is made specifically for your truck, but you can adapt almost anything to work. They come out nice when their done, so good luck!

IS it just the size tire that wouldn't allow it to tuck? If I went with a narrower tire would that get the clearance I need or is it a case of you have to narrow the rear end to get it to fit period. Cause nothing has been bought yet so I am not locked into anything. Also would it be easier to get 20's to go instead. I want it done right but also get out as easy as possible.

ThanksJ.
