Hey guys i've just got a couple of questions about installing air cylinders into a honda accord (1994-1997 shape). I'm sure a lot of it's been mentioned but i couldn't find any definate answers on any forums.First off i was wondering about which hole on the bracket that mounts the rear cylinder to the control arm to mount it with. From what i can gather most people use the first hole but with some reasonably easy modifications its not too hard to mount it on the second hole. is this correct?Secondly i wanted to know approximately how many times a 5 or 6 gallon tank would lift an accord. Also i was wondering if anyone had any pictures during the install of an air cylinder kit to an accord or knew of any good tech articles on the subject on the internet?Sorry if any of this has been posted before as i'm sure it has but i spent a while searching and couldn't find it anywhere.

i normally put it on the second hole i think it sits a little higher on the first one. and as for how many lift you would get it all depends on the psi.. at a 150 on my integra i can proably lift the entire car up and down 2 1/2 times about 80 psi its stops lifting . it still gets up just not much. and the accord is not much heavier so yeah... hope that helps ya.

you can mount the rear cylinders in any hole on the bracket, but if you have a body kit i would not mount it in the top hole because your kit will hit the ground, it also depends on what size wheels you are running. i have a 97 two door accord the rear is on the bottom hole im running 19's and a body kit. a friend of mine has a 97 with no kit and 18s he is mounted in the top hole, and as far as the tank goes it will fit at least 3 times if you dont want anything else in there.

I used the 2nd hole on mine its all a matter of suspension travel, and ride height! You will see once you put it on it is a simple task! What I would say do is out it in the first hole and when you see where its gonna sit determine wether you want it lower or if you have the right amount of clearance for your wheels! Oh and the 5 to 6 gallon tank issue, I had a 6 and I couldn't play with it very long before the front wouldn't lift up! If say a good 3 to 4 times and it starts slowing down! Now the back you can hit a couple times before it starts slowing down, less weight!
