It is a stupid law i mean my sterio is loud but i can always here a Harly roll by when im driving with my sterio up just food for thoght

They've been towing guys here in central cal for 6 years for loud stereo's. Giving them unsafe vehicle tickets for hampering the ability of other drivers on the road, to drive.

Probably because loud bikes will always be cooler than a loud radio.

Dont be throwing bikes under the bus, they get plenty of scrutinizing already. I have been pulled over more for a loud bike than a loud stereo... hope that makes you fel better.

THIS IS BULLSHIT COMMENT FROM THE ARTICLE. HELL STOCK RADIO SYSTEMS FROM ANY TYPE OF VEHICLE MADE CAN BE HEARD FROM 25 FEET AWAY. GRANTED THEY DONT HAVE THE SUBS FOR THE BASS BUT ITS STILL MUSIC. SO THEY ARE TRYING TO JUST TARGET CERTAIN PEOPLE.

SO THEY TRYING SAY ANYBODY THAT HAS A LOUD STEREO IS A DRUG DEALER OR GANG MEMBER. THATS LIKE SAYING YOU DRIVE A MINI TRUCK THAT MEANS YOU MUST DEAL DRUGS AND BE A THUG GANGBAGGER. JUST BECAUSE PEOPEL GET PULLED OVER OR DO SOEMTHIGN WRONG IN A CERTAIN TYPE OF VEHICLE, MAKES YOU GET STEREOTYPED FOR BEIGN THE SAME TYPE OF PERSON.

I THINK SOME OF THESE LAWMAKES NEED TO LOOK AT THE REAL ISSUES IN LIFE INSTEAD OF NIT PICKING CRAP. LIKE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT KILL DRIVERS BY BEING DRUNK AND DRIVING.

Not as bad as Sulphur,Louisiana... for the first offense you get a $225 dollar ticket plus a court date you have to attend. At the court date if you do not show up they track you down and impound your vehile. If you do show up in the vehicle you got the ticket in an officer escourts you to your vehicle and pulls your equipment if you have not pulled it out already and you pay another $250 in court cost and they make you sign a paper that states if you get another ticket for loud noise they seize your vehicle and sell it at auction. I have not got one since and luckily a buddy of mine had already went through it so he told me to pull my equipment the day before court.
