it uses e36 (92-98 3 series) front suspension and e30 (the older 85-91 3 series) trailing arm rear suspension. The rear uses springs in pockets so thats not very hard, and any front kit that works with any other e36 BMW (92-98 318i, 318is, 325i, 325is)will work on yours.

your biggest problem though will be that your oil pan is the lowest part of the car. it hangs a good 2 inches lower than anything else. This is a big deal, because not only will you lay motor if you lower it, but most strutbag and air cylinder kits only get about 4 inches of lift, so even at full lift you will only get the oil pan 4 inches off the ground. You need a way to move that up first, or I see a manhole cover/pothole/low curb and a oil slick in your future.

airbagit.com is aim, and everyone can generally agree that they dont sell very good stuff.

Other than that, good luck.

Sucks because that you have a macpherson strut up front which turns when you turn the wheel, so it's a nightmare when trying to get something in there. You can use the airbags with the hole in them, or even get yourself some airbag struts that need to be modified and even then it still won't sit low. The rear is a piece of cake, you can essentially make a cup for the bags and just run shorter shocks. You can juice it, and it will sit you pretty low, but it take some playing around to get the cylinder in strut to where the hose won't rub when turning.

well now i look at it my pan will be on the ground. and idk how to even start on trying fix that prob. and i c that the rear will be easy as hell . but i was looking at the front and i cain't find anythind anywhere except airbagit.com .. how else is there a way to bag the front. i was looking at the bags eith the hole but i never baggged anything like that before nor have i ever juiced anythin. an i really want to bag it.

ook about trying to find a kit. theres only one. i can find and ive heard airbagit.com is not the best place to buy a kit. all i need is the struts and i could fab the rest . but a kit would be the best.

oh and i found another kit from autoaccessorystore.com idk how that kitt will work but that one is really expensive. so can someone else check that kit out for me and tell me there opinions ????
