I am in a hurry to get the lay out of the upper plate needed to fit a RE6. so if anyone has a PDF file showing the spacing of the fitting hole and mounting holes or something i can use to make my upper bag mounts without having the actual bag with me it would help me out alot. thanks guys

i think its the same as re7s, my 7s used the bracket from sd for my rear

I've looked on slams site and the spacing on the holes is different on the re7 than the re6. I wish it was the same because i have a templete of the last bag mounts i made for a re7.

I've seen that but it doesnt show the diameter of the upper plate on the bag. and the fitting hole looks like its centered between the two mounting holes but it doesnt confirm that anywhere

ya that would help. thanks man.

Did you even look at the PDF posted?
center to center on the bolts is 1.75"
bolt holes are 3/8" UNC
The port is 1/2" NPT
The Portis centered between the 3/8" holes and offset 0.75" from the center of the 3/8 holes and the center of the bag plate.
The end plates are 4.2" in diameter.
Look at the PDF. its all there.

so the 2 mounting holes are 2.1 across the 4.2 end plate. it looks that way but it doesnt confirm it. and it would suck to make 4 of these(2 for me and 2 for a buddy) and have them not line up right.

The mounting holes are each 7/8" from the center of the plate, 180 degrees from each other. The port is 3/4" from the center of the plate, perpendicular to the direction for the mounting holes.

If its not on there, it can be assumed as centered. Thats pretty standard with engineering drawings and obvious dimensions. The mounting holes are centered on the plate, 1.75" center to center from each other. The port is centered between the mounting holes, and 3/4" offset from the center of the bag. Its pretty simple. BTW circle plates are like $5.
