I've got a 94 toyota pickup my gas tank has three gas lines a 5\16" and two 1\4" lines i know where the main goes but no the other two. I've got one 1\4" line coming from my fuel pump and the other is by it self. One goes to the fuel canister and one looks like it goes to the fuel rail. I've tryed hooking them up both ways. I heard that if you hook up the wrong line to the fuel canister you can flood it and need to buy a new one. Anybody have any ideas?

Ok...I looked under my truck today & the 3 lines your looking at are for the brakes. The fuel lines run under the truck along the bottom on the cab floor & there is only 2 of them. Both run to the front & the line that is closet to the frame is the one that goes to the fuel regulator/fuel rail. The one next to it runs to the fuel canister. If you look on top the the canister youll see where it says line from tank...if you hook them up backwards youll be ok. All will happen is that the truck wont start & then you just switch the lines around. Let me know if you have any more questions!

yeah i need to know which line is coming from the fuel pump with the main and which one is by itself and where they go.

On my truck the one that leads from the fuel pump is the line closest to the frame. It runs down under the truck along the bottom of the floor pan, up the firewall right behind the engine & up to the fuel regulator/fuel rail. Locate the fuel rail on your motor...look at the back of it & youll see the fuel regulator. Youll see a rubber hose that leads off the regulator...it runs to the metal line from the tank thats mounted on the firewall. The other line...the one beside the fuelpump line runs right up to the fuel canister...on the top of my canister its says to tank & thats what the hose from the tank is hooked too.
