anyone have some tips on doing this? just picked one up, i know you have to recess the lights.. but whats the easiest way? i also heard that there is a kit to do that? another thing. anyone have pics of yotas with phantoms with and with out shaved corners. trying to decide to either cut the phantom down or cut my shaved corners out enough to make the grill fit as is.

check out my profile. My yota has a phantom in it. I don't have stock headlights though so I won't be any help on that.

my phantom installation was retarded.it came with L brackets, random nuts and bolts and a half ass set of instructions.it told me to bend the upper brackets(which you only have one shot at or you'll break the aluminum due to metal fatigue) and use the L brackets on the lowers. after many holes were drilled i got it to work. good luck.

for a yota, id just make one. my buddy used to install alot of them, and you have to bend or cut them up a bunch anyways.

cut your headlight buckets down..almost in half..then they will sink back into the support..then just bolt the grill up
