pictures of steering shafts with heim joints needed please!

just what it says... if you dont mind, i need to study some pictures of some steering setups with heim joints used to stabilize the universal joints in the steering column/shaft please! also what is the rule? 2 universal joints no heim 3 universals 1 heim etc? incase i have been vague.. i am talking about the steering shaft coming from the column to the power steering box.

I have a total of 3 joints and I have to have a heim to support it. Let me know if you need better pics and of what.

i originally only had one heim joint, but it flopped around too much so i added the second one. worked alot better

i feel like that second uni joint is going to cause some issues... i dont plan on keeping those stock universal joints but im not going to replace everything and pretty it up until i know its all working right... i dont have a heim in these pictures but i know i need to add one.... i just wanted to get an idea of where people put them ...on what side of which universal joints for stability... and i dunno, i wanted to study other peoples success before testing my predicted failure.

this i need to do someday so my steerings dont rub my control arm anymore...where do you get the heim joints for the shaft to go threw

i just found a piece of solid stock from work and then bought a heim joint that it would fit through

Jason, I like what you did with the heim joints. Every time I look at my steering I say I'll mess with that some other day. Now I have some ideas. I looked up heim joint on ebay and they are not too pricey. Anybody know of local stores that stock them?
