How hard and involved is it to COMPLETELY re-wire my truck. I bought this project and its soo jimmy rigged that I am not sure that I can find alll the problems. So I am thinking drastic and wondering how hard it would be to re-wire the whole truck with a new wiring harness.. Or even go simple...

is it staying fuel injected? is it driven on the streets? do you use/have a heater/ac? power windows, locks, ect? id say if its really bad have somebody with a vehicle like yours sell you the entire trucks harness. the engine room, the underdash, all of it. it should be mostly plug and play. whats wrong with yours?

Mostly yes. not daily driven, but it will be a street driver... yes fuel injected.. has full power, but i dont need to keep that.. same with heater and ac- since i want a bd sometime.. but how can i find someone who can part with a full harness?? mine is just "funky". the guy before me just rigged it bad.. lots of singed wires.. brake pedal sends dash lights on.. no turn signals..

you could just go with a universal hot rod kit, they have kits with 9 fuses up to 21 fuses for all the modern conveniences.
