ok so i have a new body f150 with the djm 5" flip kit on it. well i also have a two piece driveshaft. i get a lil bit of vibration when i first take of. i wanna see what everyone else has done to fix this. djm said to lift the carrier bearing by modifying the crossmember so everything will be in a straight line. well from what i see lifting it will do nothing but make in worse than before i noticed that if i lower it maybe a half inch it would be very close to straight on. lemme know what you guys think..

So thats why my driveline shakes when taking off. Mine is bagged and I never could figure out why it would vibrate all of the time.

On the f-150 in my profile he had the same problem after doing the flip kit. He took it to a drive line shop and they ended up welding the leaf spring to the axle. It stopped the vibration and he hasnt had any problems since and that was 20,000 miles ago...I dont know if that was the proper way to fix it but it fixed it and it was cheap...so ask around see if its a good way or not.

yup that is the reason. i just dont know how bad it is on the carrier bearing. it doesn't bother me much but i dont want to have to replace it. but i did think about if maybe my u bolt stretched and just couldn't hold tight like they needed to. i just would like to see how people fixed it.

ok so it turns out and just so everyones knows with the 2 pc drive shaft there is a 3/4-1" spacer between the bearing and the x-member and once that is removed the stock bolts barely fit but it made the vibration barely noticable and i can live with it. just an fyi
