Pretty simple. We had a sheet metal/old school dash thread. Let's see some some old school steering wheels to go with em. Or billet ones, or custom one, Doesn't really matter. But It's kinda hard to find old school stuff in new school vehicles.

I really like the 50-52 Chevy steering wheels. They are kind of pricey new though. I think I may try to find one at a swap meet for my new project.

Good thread! I am also wondering how everyone is adapting these to newer columns. Are they basicly the same as your standard chevy mounting or are they using them with Flaming River or Ididit columns?

Im going to weld a Toyota hub to the rear of the 56 Chevy steering wheel Ive got so it will fit my truck. Im sure you could have a billet hub machined out if youve got the funds for that!

I like that wheel, Donny. Kinda what I have in mind for the current project. I saw one on here (SSM) last week, can't remember on what profile or thread though. It was painted gloss black, with only 1 bar going across on both side and a cone-like center. Real simple, but looked great painted to match.

I picked up a 64 Impala wheel for mine with no horn bars for $20 at a swap meet last summer.
