You do not need hubrings. It is a good idea so that you do not have any vibration problems. If the wheel is properly installed and torqued you will never have a problem. If you cannot find hubrings and are still worried, you can purchase lug centric lug nuts that will fit the hole of the wheel perfect. Same concept as a centering ring. And most wheels come in standard hub bores like 73 mm or 76 mm. So if you orded wheels that were supposed to be hub centric, That would almost be impossible unless the wheels were one off.
my 4x4 hub bore is 100mm, but what they said my truck needed was 110mm(regardless of me sayin otherwise). which is 1/2" from the lugs. and i torque them to 95, which is what my manual said. and they started to crack on two of the lugs. so now i have 5mm steel centerrings in the rim, no more problems.
