viar pressure swtich

just wondering if any one has had any problems with these switches...mine is the 200-165psi with the built in relay... the main red wire is getting hot enough to melt the insulation... i have two viar 450s and 2 5gallon tanks

i have one on my 480 never had a problem yet. you running both compressors off the one switch??

yes both are run off of one switch

might be drawing to much current through it but could be wrong...

so how would i be able to run the switch with both comps? run 2 switches? or run another relay?

2 switches would be the best, but im running a square d pressure swithch with an 80 amp solnoid off a winch with 2 380s and works just as good as relays

id say run another relay to much current is what the problem sounds like

tell me more on the square d switch they are manual right?
