will this work?

Heres what i'm wanting to do. I have a 2 link underneath my frame to the axle and a wishbone. i have a round bar connecting the the two lower links right past the bushing. The bags are not going to work on the lower links. I am running my air tanks behind the axle and stock tank in front. My tub in my bed runs all the way across so i have room to fit it under there. I need to come up with a way to mount my bags and get enough lift to untuck my wheels. This is my 4 second drawing i came up with. do you think this will be ok?

To me it looks like you are running a wishbone three link, but i'm not sure what the bar that runs from left to right on the lower bars is for. Maybe i'm missing something. The concept of the drawing should work fine. The closer you make the center pivot to the bag the more lift that you get at the other end. You may have to find a different way to connect the bag to the pivot bar as the bag might try and bow out. It looks better on paper then the setup thats on the first pic. It looks as though the upper bag bracket will bend because the gussets don't come out far enough and the lower bag mount is going to try an twist the hell out of that lower bar.

yeah its a wishbone 3 link. the bar beneath was to help with the lower link flexing since the bags were on them. The plates did not hold up very well and they are very close to my wheels at full lift. i am going to run bigger tires so they will rub the set up i have now.

also should i consider using some kind of heim joint at some of the pivots?

if it was me id move the bag closer to the pivot ...and make stronger upper plates...where is the axle when its layed out with the 24's

about 2" from hitting the notch but im getting tires that are 1.1" - 1.6" bigger back there. heres a pic you can kind of see it...oh and also thats just a sketch i just thought up. i would tweak it around before it was actually built. if anyone has a better idea im all ears lol. i am trying to get this thing back together for shows.

I would move your lower bars outside the frame rails, this way you can mount your bags right on the bars and eliminate the twist. Re-do the upper mounts to be stronger and play with the location from the front pivot point to get the lift you want. You could then get rid of that bar running between the lowers. All this depends on the wheel/tire clearance to the frame rail though.....

It looks like you could notch into the frame and place the bag between the frame and the lower link bar. This would eliminate any excessive twisting on the bushings from mounting the bag on the outside of the link bar. I would also move the bag back a few inches so there isn't as much stress on the front pivots as well as a better ride. You should be able to move it back a little if you are moving it in as well so that it clears your new wheels.

I'm pretty sure that in the first post it states that he has enough room to fit the system that he scketched out under the tub in the bed.
