well were trying to get my buddys toyota finnished and were now running into issues with the clutch. we had made a bracket to relocate everything after the body drop but the problem is we want to use an external fill resivoir (sp?) now. i was thinking about maybe using a ford clutch setup because it has a line to the fill cup. what are you guys using to finnish this task? its a 1990 i think. thanks

If you are running an external setup...I would try a setup off an S10. (Like a 90)
Ford uses a hard plastic line and clips...GM uses cheap rubber hose and hose clamps! (Much easier to work with)

Normally i see the stock master replaced with an old style like 87toyota (Its shorter) then its recessed in the firewall

i used a clutch mastert cylinder off of a honda civic and it worked out great on my toyota - they have a remote mount resevoir that uses a rubber lin and can be extended as lon as the resevoir doesn't get mounted lower then the cylinder - and its shorter the the stock yota one as well

I have mine under the cowl on my 87. I used an s-10 reservoir that feeds straight into the stock aisin mc. After the system is bled there shouldn't really be many times of topping it off unless its leaking or needs to be replaced.
