this next week i am going to start the bodydrop on my project ranger. i am going to stock floors it about 3 inches, and then traditional it all the way to the doors. the problem one of my club members enlightened about is the steering. overall this will be over 6 inches of bodydrop, and i am pretty sure the steering is going to bind up. how can i combat this problem? have a custom 3 piece steering linkage built? raise the steering column inside the cab? is there a steering linkage that would bolt up from another vehicle and solve the problem?

I have found that the bset way to concour something like that is to start from scratch. Don't try to make something work or modify the stock stuff, it's just too much drop to do that. Go out and buy the necessary parts from Flaming River or any of the other steering companys and build it right the first time.

alright, thanks, i appreciate it. looks like im just going to dive head first in to the bodydrop and work out the details as i go. lots of trial and error ahead.

Borgeson makes everything you'd need too, thats who I got all my stuff from for mine. Figured I would throw out another compay you could get parts from.
