I'm looking at doing a Turbo2 engine swap in the b2000. looking to get the transmission, and either ecu or standalone system. has anyone done this swap. if so can you email me and give me a tech on it.

Rotary engines are overly complicated and need rebuilds pretty often. Unless your getting a crazy good deal and know someone who can work on them i would recommend going with a different engine just my opinion tho

Rotary engines actually have less than 100 pieces in them and since they are very unknown by most mechanics you can get them cheap out of an rx7 from a junk yard, grap the tranny to...13b not the 12a. Then do some research, there is usually someone in the general area that can help you out. They used to be very unreliable because the seals could not handle the turbulence inside the motor but they have upgraded now a days and would be sick conversion.

My high school automotive teacher used to race 1st gen rx7s and I can honestly say that both the 12a and 13b are the simplest engines ever. As long as your good with maintence and keep your cooling system clean, they last a while. And If it ever fails, its so small you can rebuild it in few hours on your coffee table. Although your significant other may not think so highly of that idea

I'm looking for 2nd gen RX-7 t2 swap. and To those that say there problem-matic. Not really if you keep up the engine like any other engine. My rx-7 that i had had over 1200000 on the original motor and still had 120lbs of compression per rotary. It's because people redline the damn engines to much and blow the apex seals. and actally there is about 88 parts to a rotary motor give or take between the R100 through RX-8 the slightly vary. Thanks for your help.

i have one with a 12a and have one with a 13b, the 13b is NA turbo, hardest part is clearing the turbo to the frame, which still isnt that hard. stand alone is easyer, well for me cuz of what im doing. and rotarys are awsome motors, put some 3mm apex seals in and golden for a long while, i would recomend a fuel cut switch too, to turn your engine off, or when you turn the key off hold the gas pedal to the floor, there have a bad problem with flooding.

I went deep looking for a coverage picture of this truck until I googled 'Nissan Hardbody Rotary Engine', and the first link popped up to it's Minitruckin' feature. Wow... ignorance in it's prime. Anyways....

I remember seeing this truck at Nopi Nats back in say, '02 or '03. One of those years. Awesome truck for sure.
