Aright I finally got one side done so I had to throw some pics up.

It's the 12.19" rotor, 4 piston Camaro kit.

I had to make my own caliper bracket and change a couple things but it wasn't too bad, and turned out aright.

Spindle before I cut the ears off

Ears cut

The Wilwood Camaro caliper bracket next to my first attempt at the new bracket

After 3 fuck ups, I got the spacing right

I had to make spacers to center the caliper on the rotor too, it's close enough!

If anyone has some C6 Z06 calipers and is lookin for a nice Wilwood big brake kit to bolt onto their S10, IM me

looks killer man how much clearance do you have between your roter and your caliper? and does willwood have a tollerance? im just curious because in the pics it looks very close and i didnt now if they had anny play, im not bashing because i dont know anny thing about it im just curious

Thanks for the props.

And no Eric, your 100% right on on that. The way the calipers are built, there's only 1/16" between the rotor edge hittting the inside of the caliper and the pad hanging off the rotor! Thats why it took me 4 times to finally get the bracket right on... So yes, it is extremely close, but doesn't actually rub, so I'm good.

About how much $ did this run you if you don't mind me asking?

Also, does it "push" the wheels out more than stock?

Yes, I was going to order the bear kit but depending on cost I might try to do something like this.

haha I hope so!

And yeah Eric, I would have loved to get the Bear kit, but it's like $1500 or somethin and, well, thats just a little rich for my blood.

The Camaro kit I used sells for $827 through Summit racing, here's a link-Do Work Son

Honestly, I haven't measured to see if it widens the track width any, but I think it does, like .25" - .75" per side.

I'll have to find out for sure, but weather it does or not, I'm shortening my arms anyway.
