i dont have any shocks installed on my mini just my bags..Is it safe to drive it home? i live 140 miles away from where my trucks parked...

I would say it all depends on how it rides... Why dont you drive it and tell us. I've had a bagged truck with no shocks before...

should be allright, mught be pretty bouncy, i drove my old s10 with no shocks in the front for the entire time i owned it

You should be fine but take it easy. I drove mine once before without shocks in the rear and it was bouncy as hell! Tell you what, it was also the only time I drove it without shocks. If you drive it with high air pressure it should stiffen up a little.

I'm not sure what you have done to the rear of yours, but if it still has leafs be careful. A buddy of mine totaled his truck (without shocks) on the interstate because one of his leaf springs literally broke in half...

If you run a high psi to keep the ride stiff, and take it easy, you should be ok though. I ran without shocks on mine for a few months and had no problems.

Having a bagged truck with leafs and running no shocks are different things... Leafs will stick break even with schocks...

was he runin mono leaf?

no, your truck will, almost certainly, explode.

the bad thing about not running shocks is that all the suspension oscillation (the bouncing) is absorbed by the tires, which stretch and contract. People always say "it rides fine without shocks", but they will probably have a tire problem.

what kind of truck? if its an s10 and your sway bar is still in it works similarly to a shock... Not as good as having a shock but not as bad as not having one either.

special K, if you just need to get it home it is fine air up to where it stiffens the ride a bit, more in the front and a bit less out back.... This will less the rear wabble that happens when you don't have shocks. Take your drive in a laxed manner, don't drive it as if you need to hurry home. The newer the bags the better, but your truck will not explode, I rode no front shocks the whole time I had my truck and that was 7 years, and I rode 1 year with no rear shocks, just take it easy.

I was adding the proper levity to the situation. his truck has no danger of exploding.
