Ok, i finally found a dude that has mavens in stock. Not only that, but they're 24's for $1600 shipped. Only problem is the bolt pattern is 5X120 AND 5X114.3 with an offset of +15. the guy doing my burban said something about changing out the knee (rotor, hub, caliper, basically everything between the ball joints) to a 99+ fullsize, then redrilling something to make the bolt pattern 5x5. So can i redrill the wheel or rotor to make these wheels fit? the dude said i'd for sure have to drill out the bore to make the hub fit, what else? Can it be done fairly easily? Please let me know, seth i'm looking in your direction, i know you had your rims redrilled.

it has center caps since it has 2 bolt patterns. so the wheels could be slugged and redrilled. your rotors and axles and drums could also be redrilled. you could de either.

so i could make them work pretty easily?

it is possible just not free. i would say around $300 to get it done either way, catch up with john (layinrocker) i think is his name on here. he is a bitchin machinist and a standup guy! he is in TN

k, thanks. and i'm dumping about $6g's in the burban, so another $300 or so to get the wheels i want is worth it, imo. thanks again.

Jumbo, post up a pic of the wheel/wheels if you can. If they have a center cap that covers the lug patterns you could slug the old holes and redrill new ones. Are they dual pattern wheels or single pattern? If there dual pattern you will have to slug the old holes but if there single pattern you might be able to turn the wheels enough and just add the new pattern without sluging the old pattern. Just shooting from the hip, worse case scenario, but welding five old holes up and drilling five new holes on four wheels is going to cost a little more than $300 (20 slugs, 20 welded holes, and 20 new holes). Also you'll have shipping two ways for 24" wheels.

sounds like its got two patterns. but what about just redrilling the rotors you have to 5x4.5 pattern. and get a rear end from something thats go that pattern. like a dodge from 83ish and older. or a crown victoria (60" wide, 8.8 ford, 5x4.5 pattern and rear discs). id do that.

If hes going to redrill the hubs then he could redrill the rear axles and drums and he wouldn't half to do a rear end swap.

hey man 5x120 is s-10 pattern 5x4 3/4. of course the other is yota mustang ranger pattern. i would prob jus redrill your hubs and rotors and rear axle and drums to match the wheel. my machine guy usually charges me 400-500 to redrill everything front and rear. if you ever wana go back to 5x5 you can buy replacement chevy parts real cheap. last time i bought c-10 hubs and rotors they were like 20 bux a piece. jus my opinion

here's the wheels. Yeah, they have a centercap, and the hub on the spindle will push it out, but i'll make it work some how. So now here's my delima. I found a dude that has 3 of the 22's i need in stock, sed he has a blank at his warehouse that he can get drilled for the bolt pattern i need. So should i spend $1900 for the 22's, or $1600 plus slugging and redrilling and shipping and shit for the 24's?
