Thinking about buying a 720 Any thoughts??

with my 86, the thing that i had to make sure is that when i needed parts, i had to make sure that specified it was an 86 and not an 86 1/2 when the hardbody came out. so, i'd usually say that i had an 85 since it was basically the same truck. it's just tough finding custom/readymade parts for it now...which is the fun part i guess.

why would it matter what the title says on it, the truck is what it is, im not bein an ass, im just wondering

bcuz if the truck is really an 85 and it is registered as an 88,,the vin number wont match up with 88 year model,,could run into probs insuring it!!btw,,,nos replacement parts arent that easy to come by,,,aftermarket body panels everywhere,,,just some dont fit too good.

I cant wait till monday.. if all checks out and i bring it home ill post a bunch of pics on here for all yall

the truck needs a front bumper and a roll pan..

only issue is i have no welding expierence lol

looks good to me... from those pics at least. is the interior nice? buckets? bench? roll pan is easy to get. shave the tails and put something custom in the roll pan. bumper is easy to get also. can go with the chrome version and there's also a sheet metal black one that went on the 4x4 models. that's what i put on mine and to shave the bumper bolts and then filled the "spaces" next to the license plate frame. you'll know what i mean when you look at a stock one vs mine. looks like she's had some shaving done to it also... door handles, emblems. is the gas door shaved? what about the tailgate handle?

Not sure whats all shaved she was showing me that the body was straight. A buddy of mine is making a roll pan for it and ill have him shave whatever is left on it..

I gotta find a cool dark blue color to paint it

How hard is it to put on a toyota bumper and valance i like the looks of them
