Has anyone ever seen a 8 Lug dually rearend?

My friend says that he has one, and I am considering buying for my single rear wheel conversion.

Doing a little research and find that the 87 may have come 8 lug rear DRW.

Can you confirm>?

Ummm, ain't all the duallies 8 lug? I'm pretty sure all 3/4 and 1 tons are 8 lug. At least all of them that I've seen are....

Sometimes I have to read posts and especially ??? In posts 2 - 3 times or more to get what's being said or asked..... But I have to say i'm stumped on this one. GM corporate 10.5" and 11.5" 14 bolt full float axles were 8 lug.. (varying hub diameters and bolt patterns). The 9.5" 14 bolt semi float axles came in 5 lug (454 ss), 6 lug and 8 lug.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess you either thought your dually was a 6 lug or you were asking if we had ever seen a 6 lug dually. If so, both are no. if its a 3500 drw, its an 8 lug.

I guess I lost some IQ points on this thread.

A buddy of mine, texted me and said he had a 8 lug DRW rear end for sale, me not looking at my truck.
Some how I thought i have 10 lugs, because he knows I have a dually.
I thought, well Sh*t this would make it easier to do a big wheel.
Low and behold I posted this thread not even looking at my truck. (parked in my back yard) I have not touched in 3-4 weeks, except to move it.

I thought is was a 2500 rear end with shorter outer hubs.

Dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Thanks for not taking my head off on this one.

Naw...taking heads off is another site's job...pretty laid back here, unless you act like a total tool, which you ain't.
