i have a 1990 toyota s cab 22re. i bagged the front and tubbed the firewall and had to relocate the clutch and i extended the brake booster to the front of the tire by the cor support. the problem im haveing is i bleed the brake all the wy around it builds up pressure fine but if i let it sit for awhile like an hour or so theres no pressure till i pump it. any ideas like brake cylinders or zurk fittings or the paper gaskets betweenthe booster and master??? please help

got to be some air in there somewhere. thats all i can think.

it would not have anything do with the brak booster or the paper gasket between. if you bleed it and it feels really good first touch after that. then later it is basically dead again with out pumping 2 or more times to get a solid pedal i would say the master cylinder is going bad. you need to pull the rear brake drums and check the front rotors to make sure there is no leaking fluid. if you find fluid on the backing plate or on the rotor you have a bad caliper or master cylinder. good luck, if you dont find any leaking fluid the amster cylinder is bad

ive checked the wheel cylinder all lokks good i throw a new booster on it soon. if any other ideas come let me know... will a 89 yota v6 master bolt up and work????

Sounds like a bad master cylinder to me.

also jus another idea. if the rear shoes are not adjusted properly the pedal will feel spongy til you pump it up. better to check the free stuff first b4 dropin money on a new master cylinder
