Its what the subject says..I'm painting a helmet and I want it to look sort of like sheetmetal at first before i start the airbrushing. I'm relatively new in painting and dont know all the tricks. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I've seen guys spray it and then take a scuff pad and lightly rub it in straight lines to make it look like brushed metal...

Use the ghost chrome or killer chrome by alsa...and before you spray the chrome paint scuff the black basecoat very lightly with a scotchbrite pad.

Martin Senour has a polished aluminum factory pack. The part number is B877891. Martin Senour is Sherwin Williams. My cost is $50.17 a pint. You spray over black. Supposed to look like Toyota dash pieces that are paintd the paint rep says. Never tried but I am when I get to the interior of my truck.
