Ok, i think i'm going to go with the 24's off ebay with the 5x120 and 5x114.3. The wheels are a +15 offset, but they're for dodge magnum, 300, etc. They're going on a 1987 suburban 5 lug pattern. So can i get some adapters to go from 5x5 to 5x120 or 5x114.3? If i got 1/2" wide adapters, would that push the wheel out enough to keep the hub from pushing out the center cap on the wheels? And still allow it to tuck? The dude with the wheels said the dodge bore is smaller than the chevy bore, so i know i'd have to drill out the wheels to make the bore bigger, does anyone know both measurements (chevy bore and dodge bore)? I need help asap, i gotta let the dude know tomorrow if i'm going to buy the wheels or not.

Here's the wheels:

and here's the auction:

sorry, i don't know how to make the link clicky. Please help asap.

you do not want adapters. it is not the right way to do it. i would suggest still have the drums axles and front rotors redrilled. also have the wheels bored

so instead of slugging and drilling the wheels, just redrilling the hubs to match the dodge bolt pattern would be my best bet? Then, the only thing i'd have to do to the wheel is bore it out a little, right?

not worth it for the amount of the wheels, shipping, boring the wheels and having your rotors redrilled you could buy the right wheels. with a 9.5 inch wheel and a +15 offset thats about 4.25 inch backspacing so youll have to run spacers anyway. just wait till you can find the right wheels and it will save you a lot of time

nick the wheels have been discontinued and he wants them cuz theyre called Mavens. which is his daughters name too. which is why he's going through all this trouble to get them. jumbo, id go with having everything redrilled.

oh yeah, in case i forgot to mention, the 24's are $1600 shipped, i found some 22's that are the right bolt pattern, but i'll still have to get the front rotors and stuff redrilled so the hub clears the center cap, but the dude only has 3 and said he might have a blank in the warehouse he could get drilled for me, but he was'nt sure, and the 22's are $1980 shipped. And 24" tires are about $150 more for a set than 22's. Thanks for clearing the air, russ. And as i've said before, i'm dumping about $6-$7k into this burb to get it done right and safe, and i don't think an extra $500 or so for getting the wheels i want is too awful much more.
