Hey Guys...
So Like a month ago, i swapped out my 2.2L for another 2.2L while Im waiting to finish my new motor. Anyways, The 2.2L i swapped into my truck, Worked great before it went in, Put it in, got everything connected, it was Running a little rough, so i re-did the Timing, Adjusted the Idle, Everything was pretty good for about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks or so... And then i was downtown Saturday night (last week) it started to Act up when i was leaving, Almost like it wasn't getting gas, So i thought i Ran outta gas, so for the hell of it, I tried to crank it like 5 more times to start it, and it actually started, Drove 3/4 of the way home, stopped and got gas, just incase i really was running outta gas, (which i don't think i was)... Now, Since then I can drive down the road fine, but if i let off the gas in gear its almost like it wants to stall out, and if i go into Netural while rolling down the road, it stalls out complete, now sometimes if it doesn't stall out completely it dives to like 250-500rpm's and toggles between the 2, I've attempted to adjust the Idle, and adjust the Distributor every so slightly to compensate for the lack of idle or viceversa, keep in mind the the distributor is as close to center as can be, its not retarded or advanced to much, either way, i dont find it helps me with my issue.
I find i can make it Idle pretty good at approx 800-900rpm's... and even 1000rpms, to compensate for my compressor when it drops my idle. and just when i think everythings good and it sounds good, I drive away, and i don't even have to be going fast at all, and the Idle will drop really low and sometimes even stall, if i let off the gas with the clutch in, happens really at any speed.
No Problems with accelleration really that i've noticed.
All vacumm lines are connected
